Transaction Grid Edit Time & Date Process
Edit Exit accessed on double click is the most common process for the Transactions Grid allowing users to correct; most commonly Job/Order values (of Description, Purchase Order and Type) and if applicable the Order linked price book and associated product line values. User editing of weighbridge transactions is not recommended but within busy operations there is both a need and necessity hence such functionality under WZWB is offered to all Basic Users with
all edits reported within the
Audits window requiring Administrator privileges for access.
Administrators have the necessary privileges to edit both the date and time stamp of docket production in consequences of power failure where profit centres have been forced to resort to manual docket production to provide an example.
-
Basic Users will record manual dockets into WZWB on any day (typically the following day on receipt of the manual dockets when power has been restored).
-
With these transactions now entered into WZWB Administrators only have the opportunity to edit and update the recording the manual dockets from Basic Users (now entered into WZWB) as per the actual date and time stamp of the manual docket which is accessed on changing the Entry Date time stamp field existing within the Transactions Grid (below).
-
Administrators can optionally record and update a Basic Users' Time In, time stamp with the Time Out time stamp being defaulted to 15 minutes past the Time In time stamp.
-
As per the instructions (above) the transaction edited will open requiring save where the process is then complete.
-
Should Administrators close the Edit Exit window or cancel Time In or Date In changes will not be applied to the transaction.
